We are a non-profit industry association that represents the interests
of those companies involved in the Recreation Vehicle Industry.
Our Main Objectives
The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association of British Columbia, also known as the RVDA of BC, is a non-profit industry association that represents the interests of those companies involved in the Recreation Vehicle Industry. Membership in the Association is voluntary, however, potential members must make applications to the Association providing industry references and agreeing to abide by the RVDA Code of Ethics.
Founded in 1976, and incorporated in May 1977, the main objectives of the association are:
- To advance the interest of the Recreation Vehicle Dealers and to secure harmony and cooperation within all branches of the industry;
- To study the economic, scientific, and practical problems arising from time to time, and to present them to the members of provincial or national authorities in the interest of the Recreation Vehicle Industry;
- To represent the interest of the Recreation Vehicle Dealers before Government and Government agencies;
- To oppose legislation that is hostile to, and to promote legislation that may be of benefit to, Recreation Vehicle Dealers;
- To abate trade abuses and injurious trade practices and to promote, protect and cultivate the interests of the Recreation Vehicle Dealers;
- To disseminate trade information and encourage improvements in business methods;
- To inculcate and maintain high standards of integrity and honor in the sale and distribution of Recreation Vehicles;
- To cultivate a friendly and social spirit among members and to promote a firmer and better relationship between suppliers and retail dealers.
